So you are new to making money online. Everybody says building the list is very important but how do you go about?

Well first of all you have to get people to sign up to your list, this is done by giving away a free product.
So I hear you shout but what and where?
There are number of ways of doing this:

1. You can create your own product whether it be an ebook, an interview or a video you have created. ( I have only done this recently by interviewing my mentor Dean Holland – so watchout for the release)
2. If you feel you are not ready to create your own product then you can find a plr products that has giveaway rights – I use the following site Resell Digital Goods it sells the latest PLR ebooks and products from $1 and its highest priced products are $9.99, not only can you giveaway these products but you can resell them and some of them come with their own mini-site all you need to do is add the pay pal button.
3. Find a giveaway -  a very good source for giveaways is the following The Giveaways Notificator.
4. You will need to use an autoresponder, there are plenty available, I use Aweber which I found easy to use.

I have just spent the past few days watching videos on Lee McIntrye’s first ever Workshop held in Manchester, UK.

Lee McIntrye took everything that the so called guru’s are  telling everyone and turned it Inside Out and Upside Down.

So when was this Workshop well it was last year, so how did I get a copy to watch it? Well he is giving it away as a free bonus to one of his brillant course, Point and Click Coaching.

So what did he cover the main theme running throughout the whole workshop was over deliver! Over deliver with your subscribers and over deliver with your product.

What did he mean?

I know I keep going on about planning and how important it is!

But its something I only do half heartily and because of it this week I have really suffered. While trying to build sites for Clickbank products and keep on posting to my blog. Real life got in the way. I am still working on a major website for a client, which got hacked then crashed and burned. It has taken three long days and nights, with plenty of help from the hosting company and one of the best programmers I have found on GetAFreelancer to get the site up running again.

You see I am wasting time again!!! Well my point is just like the website I crashed and burned this week. Now I am playing catch up. So I needed something to get me back on focus, and thats what I did I found an excellent resource.

You just designed a new website. You want people to know its there, you need to get it indexed quickly in the search engines, how do you get it? There are are a number of ways of doing this.

• 1. Its important to let the search engines know you are there. If you have used wordpress to design your site, then a great website is Ping-O-Matic this pings search engines to let them know your site is there.
• 2. If you do not believe in the automatitive way, then go to Google and add your site manually. Remember its important to let them know your site is there.
• 3. Now for the fun part. Use Social Marker this gives you links to all social book marking sites, some of which will be relevant to your niche. This will take a while to do. The first time it took me well over an hour as I had to sign up to them all. This helped get my site indexed in less than a day. I would suggest outsourcing this if possible.

Now once you got your site indexed you can continue to market it and upgrade it. You need to use a combination of SEO tactics not just one method. Methods such as creating backlinks, by putting your site details in the signature part of any forums you are involved in (only if the forum allows it). Writing articles short term but affective. Tell people on Twitter, Facebook etc.

Remember though NO SPAM, you hate it, so do other people.

Its that time of year again when we all start making New Year Resolutions such as:

• losing weight
• quitting smoking
• more exercise
• reduce alchol intake

BUT how many of us stick to these. Knowing myself from previous years I had manage two weeks on a new diet and excerise regime before giving up. Then I changed my thinking instead of New Year resolutions I set myself targets with the time frame being the year. I also wrote these targets down, seeing them in black and white makes them more real than an empty promise.

Since writing these targets I have gone on to achieve. I have gained extra qualifications by attending evening classes. I have started to learn another language by attending intensive courses and starting to work on making a living online.

So first task this year is to write down my targets and then put them into a plan of action. I find breaking my targets down into a daily plan certainly helps. Also setting a time frame helps as you can organise your targets into tasks with easy to complete steps.

So here’s to 2010 and may it be full of blessings and great achievements for you all.
