Module 6 Screen Kings/Queens

By Kerie

So this is the final Module of Dean Holland’s Starting With Marketing. He stated that, “People often see the video as a topic that’s too difficult and something they can’t do ….. WRONG!”

So this is me stepping out of my comfort zone. This is real me telling the truth about Dean Holland’s course. Please watch and make comments good or bad, I welcome any suggestions on improving my technique.

So why did we have to do videos.

Well it lets people see the real you, shows you are an actual person, shows your personality, increases your credibility and builds stronger relationships.

BUT if you are not happy about filming your self, you can use the slide technique. This is where you prepare a slide show and talk over the slides which helps to get the message across.

Videos are also good for instructional purposes, everybody learns differently, some like to see what they are learning, some like to read and some like to listen. So if you combine your styles with slides, voice and yourself you tend to cover all bases.

So go get out of your comfort zone and have ago. Don’t forget to upload to YouTube

Cheers you new video blogger friend

Kerie :-D

    Hi Kerie,
You´ve really done a big step,Kerie.Leaving your comfort zone.
A small step for mankind but a giant leap forward for you, isn´t it ?!
You´re looking smart and selfconscious.Youré telling the story of your experiences with Dean, which are equaling mine.
Your story is mine and I can only say: Well done,Kerie and congrats.Really looking forward to your next one in line.

Yes, that´s exactly what it is about.Leaving your comfort zone.
For me as a german with not being able to speak fluent, what really hampers me,it was such a fantastic experience to see and learn, that even I,myself, the king of nothing, could accept me,stumbling, mumbling and stuttering. It was fun and so I made my weakness to the “golden key”, which perhaps or surely made my video standing out from the crowd.I laughed until tears came,it was really me,who found that video kind of funny.
I think that´s the secret I found in the haystack of mistakes.
I made. It´s me,showing off myself as I am.Just a normal guy making his first steps, so called baby steps and some days ago I made my second video in German-English and I would really appreciate your comment on this as well.
Moreover it would be great and very much appreciate to get listed on your blogroll as all the other members of the clan do.
Thx for reading and for visiting my blog.I will come back soon.
Greetz from Germany and its getting cold here, almost wintery.

  18. Kerie says:
