Archive for Amazon
Hi everyone, I started this blog in 2009 when I attempted to make a living on-line. I am not going to lie to you… I found it difficult and a lot of hard work for very little reward. Most of the sellers on-line are selling products how to make an income on-line and making their income from selling that you. Most products are not worth the money and sadly can lead people into further financial complications. There are some however that are successful and really do try and help others succeed.
I can not blame anyone, my trouble and like a lot of newbies is the lack of FOCUS and always changing direction. I also forget the key ingredient…do something you love and create you own.
Now I love to write, read and my day job is to teach young people how to use computers and the many different software in order to complete tasks to gain their qualifications. I also stumbled along the quite revolution of the indie self publisher. Although you have always been able to self publish…it has never been more easier with the growth in eReaders and the demand for more material. The indie publisher can sell their material to Amazon and Barnes and Noble directly or can use Smashwords to distribute to a wider audience such as Kobo and Sony eReader customers.
So join me on the journey to writing for freedom.
In this blog I will be covering all the issues and events effecting indie publishing.
Cheers for now
